Psychotropic hemp users who’ve been around the block may have caught Binoid’s popping up here and there.
One look at the brand’s catalog and, well, it’s obvious why. They have a super varied collection of hemp-derived vapes, edibles, and other cannabis products, even by the standards of our current marketplace. Chances are that Binoid already carries whichever new cannabinoid you didn’t know existed until last week. Word has it, they were one of the first to release THCA carts.
That’s why I was so curious to explore the big question: is it a matter of quantity over quality, or are Binoid’s delta 8 THC carts really just that good? Is it even that black-and-white?
I received two disposables and three weed carts from Binoid, which I’ve been testing over the past couple of weeks. Here’s all that we’ll be taking a closer look at:

Nothing too crazy. I figured I’d cover a few of the basics, and delta 8 products felt like the right place to begin. Wasn’t opposed to throwing in an HHC cart and a bit of THCA for flavor, either.

Size, weight, and feel
Binoid doesn’t seem to experiment too much when it comes to aesthetics. No shame in that. I love unique design touches, but at the end of the day, this doesn’t play a direct role in usability or quality.
All four carts are topped off with black, lightly tapered mouthpieces measuring in at 25 mm a piece.
Both disposables feature a soft, matte white body that feels buttery in the hand, and a wide mouthpiece. Length and shape differs between the two, as does the location of that little window into your vape’s oil chamber. USB-C charging ports are found at the base of either device, and a slim, blue indicator light sits on front.
The Mango Kush delta 8 THC pen measures in at a comfortable 100 mm long, 20 mm wide, and 10 mm thick. Chop 10 mm off of that length and you’ve got yourself Space Cake.
Getting started
They’re rechargeable via USB-C, but Binoid’s disposables are pretty old-school otherwise. Open the box, pop out the pen and remove the mouthpiece seal, then vape. These pens reach you pre-charged and with no settings to adjust. Both are draw-activated, streamlining your sessions to the max.
Binoid’s carts are equally low effort, but it’s hard to get fancy when you’re working with standard 510 threads. Just screw them into any compatible 510 battery.
How do they hit?
I only tried five products—a drop in the ocean, seeing as Binoid’s current catalog stretches out to fifteen pages—but I definitely noticed some discrepancies. More than anything, it was a matter of small problems piling on top of one another.
None of the products were bad, even at their worst. I actually enjoyed a couple of them.
For one, I have soft criticisms about Binoid’s disposable hardware. No blockages or anything session-breaking. At times, it just felt like there was a bit of a stutter in the airpath, or I needed to take hard pulls to get the job done.
Vapor output was solid for the disposables. That said, as I got deeper into my session, I started to feel it in my throat. The hits become a bit harsh.
Let’s move on to effects. The Baked Alien THCA cart reigns supreme here, no question. I was able to reach a light, stimulating high within a few hits. Very functional, and as someone who tends to veer toward the sleepiest of indicas, I forget how nice the alternative is. While I didn’t stay at the peak for long, traces of the high lingered for over an hour.
The other four products were effective, and I got some dreamier head highs out of them… except for one session. This was after vaping quite a bit of the Mango Kush D8 pen. I spent around ninety minutes floating in the pleasant space I’d come to expect, but rather than drifting smoothly down, there was wooziness involved.
Fortunately, that was a one-time event.
Are the flavors any good?
Depending on the oil you’re working with, Binoid takes both approaches to flavoring their vapes: authentic and herbal, or so sweet you might as well be inhaling ripe fruit. Nothing was too sugar-filled, at least.
- Mango Kush: Tastes exactly how it sounds, minus the “kush.” Absolutely the sweetest oil here.
- Space Cake: My least favorite of the group. This vape may carry the “live rosin” branding, but I’m not getting the rich, multidimensional terpene profile I’d expect out of an authentic extract. It straddles the line between sweet and bitter.
- Northern Lights: Herbal without getting too complex. Comes with a refreshing, lemony tang.
- Baked Alien: Unlike Space Cake, the rosin influence is clearer in this one. Crisp and grassy, and a little citrusy.
- Sunset Sherbert: Boldly orange, but against all expectations, not too sweet. More orange rind than the actual fruit.

To sum it up, Binoid is a brand that I’d be curious to explore further—but one of my biggest hesitations lies in their lab testing practices.
This isn’t the first time I’ve been a killjoy about COAs, and it certainly won’t be the last.
At first glance, Binoid has a hearty backlog of test results to match their equally large selection of products. Some COAs are lacking in quality, however, and I’m confused by how sweeping a few of them are. All THCA strains are lumped into one potency test. No information is provided on contaminants, either.
I was also unable to find batch numbers for any products I received. This was frustrating, especially since the aforementioned THCA document is from the start of 2023, over one year ago. Whether this COA is up to date, isn’t clear.
To give credit where it’s due, Binoid’s HHC distillate was tested for heavy metals, pesticides, and residual solvents, plus the results are dated within the past year. It seems to be a mixed bag. At the very least, I hope Binoid is taking steps to continue improving in this area.
I won’t act like I’m not curious about Binoid’s other THCA products. Those are hard to nail down, and as far as I’m concerned, theirs show promise. Kudos to Binoid. My thoughts on their delta 8 THC and HHC are mixed, but after having a not-so-great session with the D8, I’m slightly more hesitant to press forward with it.
Binoid isn’t one-note, for better or for worse. That’s about what I was expecting from a brand with such an enormous variety of cannabinoids in rotation. Not bad, but definitely room for improvement.
